Conclusion
The current study had many limitations. Size of the sample had been inadequate and allometric equation used was not fully matching in Guyana’s condition. However this research laid a foundation to scale up future endeavours. There are urgent need of further research, particulary developing allometric equation for Guyana’s context. The variation of carbon stock in inshore and offshore should be studied in details. Below ground carbon stock and soil carbon stock need special attention. However, the finding of this study can be used as a surrogate until a robust study is carried out in near future.
